How has the new Clio experience improved Clio?

We’ve spent 600+ hours conducting interviews, 60+ days visiting clients, and countless hours reviewing customer and industry feedback—all in an effort to make Clio faster, easier to use, and with a greater vision for the future.

Through visiting law firms, conducting extensive user-testing, and monitoring feedback from our customer surveys and everyday customer interactions, we’ve invested hundreds of hours into researching your needs.

The result? We’ve created the new Clio experience to meet the unique, and evolving, needs of the legal profession, helping you get more done in your day—in less time, with fewer clicks.

 

Will the work I do in the new Clio experience be saved to my existing Clio account?

The new Clio experience operates from the same database as the existing Clio experience, and switching from one version to the other will not affect your firm's data in any way. Everything you do in the new Clio experience will be securely saved and available to you.

 

I’ve switched to the new Clio experience, but I can’t figure out how to perform a specific task. What should I do?

We’ve designed Clio to be as intuitive as possible, but if you are unable to perform a specific action as part of the new Clio experience, you can request support via our new in-app chat, the fastest way to get help. Simply click the chat icon at the bottom right of your screen and type your question, and a member of our award-winning, in-house support team will respond within minutes.

You can also switch between the previous and new Clio experiences using the button located in the top right of your screen, or reach out to our support team via phone or email at any time.

 

Am I required to use the new Clio experience?

We’ve designed the new Clio experience to make Clio irresistibly easier, and more enjoyable to use. That said, using the new Clio experience is entirely optional. For the time being, if you choose to try the new Clio experience (and we hope you will) you can switch back to the previous Clio experience at any time. Eventually, all Clio users will be fully transitioned to take advantage of the new Clio experience.

 

I want to share feedback on the new Clio experience. How can I do this?

The new Clio experience is built on insight from our customers, and we absolutely welcome your feedback. As part of new Clio experience announcement, we've invited our users to connect with our product team on Slack, so please check your email. Additionally, you can contact our support team at any time using the new live chat feature located at the bottom left of your screen.

 

Will there be any change in cost to my subscription plan?

No. Your subscription fee not only covers your day-to-day use of Clio, but also the ongoing innovation to make Clio the most powerful and user-friendly software available to law firms. The new Clio experience will not affect costs associated with any Clio subscription plans.

 

When will the new Clio experience be available for all Clio users to use?

We're slowly rolling out the new Clio experience to customers over the coming months. When the new Clio experience is available for your firm, a switch button will appear in the top right of your screen, which will allow you to switch between the new and previous Clio experiences.

 

Will the new Clio experience affect Clio's mobile app?

The new Clio experience will primarily affect Clio's web app, accessed via web browser. However, new efficiencies will also be added to Clio's mobile app in the coming months. For example, improved timekeeping will be available to both iOS and Android users, which you'll be able to access from any in-app screen. Android users will also be able to install a timer widget, which will allow you to access and log time from your home screen.
