KCS - Why Doesn't the Reference Field in Clio Sync to QuickBooks Online When Recording Payment?

Objective:

  • Sync Check Reference field from Clio to QuickBooks Online

Environment:

  • Clio Web App
  • QuickBooks Online

Answer:

The Reference field within Clio does not sync over to QuickBooks Online. If you would like to include payment details that will sync to QuickBooks Online when recording payment, please use the Description Field.
