KCS - Unable to Delete an Invoice

Issue:

  • Deleting Bills
  • Cannot delete a Bill

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Cause:

  • Once it's in an Awaiting Payment state, you can only Void the invoice. To be able to Void an invoice, complete the following steps. 

Resolution:

  1. Once it's in an Awaiting Payment state, you can only Void the invoice. 
  2. Ensure all Credit Notes are removed. For instructions on removing Credit Notes, click here. 
  3. Ensure all Payments are removed. For instructions on removing Payments, click here. 
  4. If you still cannot delete the invoice, ensure that invoice has a client or Matter associated.
