KCS - One of My Firm Members is Unable to See a Matter and the Permission is Set as Everybody

Objective:

  • Matter Permission is set to 'Everybody' and firm member is still unable to access it

Answer:

Navigate to Settings for 'Groups, Permissions, and Job Title' - there is mostly likely a Group that has been created with the name 'Everybody'. Firm Member who cannot access the Matter has not been added to the 'Everybody' Group. For more information on adding people to a Group, please see here.
