How to Combine Multiple Invoices Into One

Objective:

  • Combine all billed and unpaid activities onto one master bill
  • Merge Invoices
  • Combine Bills together
  • Create a master bill
  • Can I merge two or more bills together?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

Clio does not have a feature to merge Bills but you can Void both of them to release the line items and create a new combined Bill.

Procedure:

  1. Navigate to each Bill you wish to combine and Void them individually
  2. Navigate to the Billing tab
  3. Choose blue New Bills button at the top right corner
  4. Filter for this Client
  5. Check the box next to their name
  6. Click Generate at the top
  7. Make sure to check Combine multiple matters for one client into a single bill
  8. Click Generate Bills
  9. Now you will have the Bill in Draft to review and Approve or Edit as needed
