KCS - How to Deactivate one Person and Invite a New Person on an Annual Subscription


  • Subscription is yearly and one employee is leaving and a new employee is joining

Administrator permission is needed to make this change.

For Starter, Boutique, and Elite accounts, you can deactivate a user of any subscription type (attorney or non-attorney) and then activate a user of any user type (attorney or non-attorney).


  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Manage Users
  3. Click Deactivate (under the relevant person's name)
  4. Refresh the page
  5. Click Add
  6. Enter the email of the person you wish to add
  7. Select what groups and permissions they should have (if any)
  8. Send Invite
  9. New User will then receive an email to finish setting up the account
  10. They will now appear on the account
