  • Get my data out of LEAP
  • Migrate from LEAP
  • Export from LEAP
  • LEAP migration
  • Get data from LEAP to Clio

Please note that the success of any data migration depends primarily on the quality of the data set provided to us. Before attempting to migrate your information into Clio, you should ensure that your data is consistently formatted, well organized, sufficiently backed up, and stored securely. If you are not certain, it is recommended that you consult with your Clio representative before proceeding.

Procedure:

Follow these steps from your LEAP account:

Matters

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select Matters and Clients at the top of the page. 
  3. Select Matter List
  4. Select All for all the options
  5. Click View Report
  6. Select Download
  7. Pick CSV as file output

 Clients

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select Matters and Clients at the top of the page. 
  3. Select Client Detail
  4. Select All for all the options
  5. Click in the box at the top left of the list to select all records
  6. Select Download
  7. Pick CSV as file output

 All Contacts (Both clients and other)

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select Matters and Clients at the top of the page. 
  3. Select Card Detail
  4. Select All for all the options
  5. Click in the box at the top left of the list to select all records
  6. Select Download
  7. Pick CSV as file output
