KCS - The Client Field Does not Autopopulate When Creating a New Matter From the Contact's Page

Issue:

  • Client names does not always populate when Matter created from Contact page

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

This may be related to Contacts created via a sync, 3rd party integration, or via data import.

Cause:

Not yet diagnosed

Workaround:

  1. Click the Client Field
  2. Type the first few letters of the Client name
  3. Select the suggested Contact
  4. Continue to create your Matter as per normal.
