Please note that success of any data migration depends primarily on the quality of the data set provided to us. Before attempting to migrate your information into Clio, you should ensure that your data is consistently formatted, well organized, sufficiently backed up, and stored securely. If you are not certain, it is recommended that you consult with your Clio representative before proceeding
The migration generally begins with a scheduled 15-20 minute consultation to establish preferences and expectations. Time to schedule depends on both yours, and the migration agent's availability. We attempt to schedule a consultation as soon as possible.
If you require Clio to assist with the export of your data, a 1 hour appointment needs to be scheduled; depending on availability it can take between 1 day and 2 weeks to schedule an export. We attempt to schedule an export as soon as possible.
The processing time for a Migration will take up to five business days, once the data is received, and an initial consultation has occurred. Additionally, depending on the volume of data and complexity the migration timeline may be extended, though we attempt to process the data as quickly as possible. If it is anticipated that processing will take longer than a five business day turn around your Migrations Specialist will set this expectation.
Please note: During our busy period (First week of the month and the last week of the month) the data processing timeline can be extended to 7 business days.
