Why is the 'Add time' Button Still in the Communications Tab if I Added Time From the Outlook Add-In?

Question:

  • Can I log time from Outlook and the Add time button go away in Clio?

  • Clio Manage
  • Outlook

Additional Information:

Answer:

Because the logging of an email and adding a Time Entry for that email, both with the Outlook Add-In, are two separate actions, the Add time button is still shown beside the logged email in the Communications tab.

Currently, the only way around that is to add the Time Entry using the Add time button in the Communications tab for that logged email rather than using the Timer function within Outlook. Once a Time Entry has been added from the Communications tab, the Add time button will be replaced with the duration the Time Entry was created for.
