Adding Users To Your Clio Account

The process for adding a new user to your account depends on if you are set up on a Monthly or Yearly Subscription.

Monthly Subscription

To add a new user to your Clio Account go to the Clio Settings panel and click on "Manage Users" in the System column.

On the Manage Users screen, click the "Add" button. 

Then enter in the email of the person, what Groups they should belong to (if any), what Permissions they should have, and any message you'd like to send and click on "Send Invite":

The newly invited user will receive an email and they will need to click on the attached link to finish setting up the account.

From here they will enter their information including password and time zone and click "Sign Up".

Yearly Subscription

If you are set up on a Yearly Subscription you must purchase a license for the new user before you can invite them.

To purchase the license, go to the Clio Settings panel and click on "Account and Payment Info" in the System column.

On the Account and Payment Info screen, click on the "Payment Info" sub-tab.

In the "Subscription" section, click the "Buy More Licenses" link.

On the "Add Licenses" screen, add the number of licenses that you want to purchase and click "Purchase Licenses". Your card will be debited immediately.

You will be given a "Pro-Rated Credit" for the difference between when you first signed up for the Yearly Subscription and the date you purchased the additional licenses.

Once the license has been purchased, to add a new user to your Clio Account go to the Clio Settings panel and click on "Manage Users" in the System column. Continue with the instructions at the top of the page for Monthly Subscribers.
