Clio users that have permissions to view Reports (as determined by the Originating Subscriber/Administrators) are able to generate them via the "Reports" tab:
In the Reports Dashboard you will see all the different types of reports that you can generate. Reports in Clio are designed to provide you insights into your firm's key metrics. Click on the name of the report to generate same and you will have to choose various options like date ranges and client/matter choices.
Many of the reports are focused on firm financials, but there are also a number dedicated towards understanding Trust funds, work in progress, and productivity. Once you have selected a report to generate, you will be given the option to select certain filters to display specific data. For example, if you would like to display data for only one month, you can adjust the Date Range field.
Under Output Format, choose your desired file type, and then click Generate Report. You will see a visual indicator of progress being made on generating your report.
Once complete this message will change, and you will see your file accessible at the lower left of most browsers.
If you are interested in printing your report, you will be able to do so once it is downloaded. The program you open the Report in will allow you to print. For example, if you generate a PDF file and open it in a PDF viewed on a browser, you may see your print symbol at the top of the page:
All reports can be generated in PDF or CSV, giving you the flexibility to quickly reference information or even use a spreadsheet program like Excel to build custom reports for additional insight. Many of the reports can also be generated in a Web format which allows you to click-through to the source of the data in your account.
