KCS - Cannot Enter a Number starting with 0 into an Integer Type Custom Field.

Issue:

  • An Integer type Custom Field was created. Any numbers that begin with 0 that are entered in to the field will not show the 0's once the number has been saved.
  • Can't enter Social Security Numbers that begin with 0

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Cause:

Clio does not consider a number that begins with 0 to be a proper integer so it removes the 0.

Resolution:

  1. Create a Text One-Line Custom Field to use instead
