KCS - Issue: Unable to Include Attachments When Filing Emails to Matters Using the Outlook Add-In for Desktop

Issue:

  • Include Attachments does not appear in PC Outlook Add-in for some users

Environment:

  • Outlook Desktop

Additional Information:

When selecting to "File" an email in Outlook Desktop, the modal to the right doesn't include the ability to "Include Attachments". However, with the same Outlook account, they are able to see this option when viewing the email in Outlook 365 Online. 

Cause:

Not yet diagnosed

Workaround:

Install the web version of the Outlook Add-In and file the email with attachments there.
