KCS - "There is Not Enough Space on Clio Cloud Drive" Error When Trying to Upload to AlphaDrive Folder

Issue:

  • Receive a "There is Not Enough Space on Clio Cloud Drive" Error When Trying to Upload Documents to AlphaDrive Folder

Environment:

  • Clio Web App
  • AlphaDrive

Additional Information:

Click here to view AlphaDrive's support article.

Cause:

In Windows, each drive must report an actual amount of space available and an actual amount of used space (it can't simply say "Unlimited"). To accommodate this requirement, even though you have unlimited storage through AlphaDrive and Clio, the size and free space of AlphaDrive will be reported as the same values as your primary drive (usually C:\). If the AlphaDrive storage surpasses this limit you will receive the error message, but the files should still upload successfully. As always, please check to ensure the files have been successfully uploaded.

Resolution:

  1. Upload the Files
  2. Exit the error message
  3. Check to confirm the files were successfully uploaded into AlphaDrive
