KCS - Closing a Matter in New Clio generates an Error Message

Issue:

  • Closing a Matter in New Clio causes an error message: "Error: Please try again" in a red banner in the bottom right hand corner. 

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

Cause:

The Contact has been removed from the Matter. 

Resolution:

  1. Edit the Matter
  2. Add a Contact in
  3. Click Save Matter
  4. Change the status from Open to Closed on the Matter dashboard.
