KCS - How to Use the Outlook Add-in for Clio Timer

Objective:

  • Create billable Time Entries while using Outlook

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

  • Must have Office 365 for Business and have downloaded and enabled the Outlook Add-in for Clio.
  • The Timer can run from whether or not an email is being drafted in Outlook.

Procedure:

  1. Click on the Timer button in the Clio group at the upper right of Outlook.
  2. Click on Start to begin the Timer.
  3. Once complete, enter data in the Time Entry fields.
  4. Save the Time Entry, which will then appear in Clio under the main and Matter Activities tabs.
