When Viewing Online Payments in Previous Clio, I'm Unable to Receive a Refund for a Chargeback Made within LawPay

Issue:

When refunding a client for a Trust Request in LawPay, I am given the option to Receive Refund within Online Payments in Previous Clio. However, when I click Receive Refund, the link does not work.

Environment:

  • Clio Web App
  • Previous Clio

Cause:

This page has become deprecated, so the link to receive the payment is no longer active, which is why you cannot Receive the Refund.

Resolution:

  1. Ensure you have followed these steps
  2. Toggle to the New Clio Experience, where this page does not exist
