KCS - Issue:Client field in Matters shows extra contacts

Issue:

  • Client field in Matters shows extra contacts

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

Trying to find the Company to select for a new Matter shows all Contacts where that Name was entered in the Custom Field.

Cause:

The client field is pulling in results with the search results in both the Contact name as well as any "details" or custom fields of a given Contact 

Workaround:

  • Scroll through other Contacts to find the one that you're looking for
