Are the Data Processors that Provide Clio Services Certified Under the EU - U.S. Privacy Shield?

Answer:

Data Processors refer to our subprocessors, i.e. backend third-party services built into Clio. You cannot use Clio without these services.

Because of that, Clio requires them to meet certain certifications or contractual obligations before we will use them. This is done to protect our customers and their clients. All of the data processors that provide Clio services are either Privacy Shield certified or have signed a Data Protection Addendum with Clio. You can find a list of them in our Terms of Service.
