KCS - Why Can't I See the Contact When Sharing a Bill?

Issue:

  • Unable to find Contact when trying to share a Bill
  • Client won't populate under "Select Contacts" when sharing a Bill

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Cause:

No email address listed for the Contact or the Contact doesn't exist

Resolution:

  1. Locate the Contact from the main Contacts tab
  2. Select the Edit link 
  3. Add the Contact's email address
  4. Select the Update Person button at the bottom of the page
  5. Return to the Bill and Share
