When a user files an email to Clio using the Outlook Add-in, and there is one contact in Clio with the same email address, that contact will be associated with the email.
When a user files an email to Clio using the Outlook Add-in, and there are either multiple contacts in Clio with the same email address (as a sender or recipient), or there are no contacts in Clio with the same email address (as a sender or recipient), it will prompt the user to resolve that conflict.
If there are multiple contacts in Clio with the same email address as a sender or recipient, the user can:
- Choose the correct contact from a list of matches
- Search for the correct contact
- Create a new contact
