KCS - What Do I Do If My Client Doesn't Have a Zip or Postal Code and is Paying Via Clio Payments

Objective:

  • Credit Card Payment from outside of North America
  • My Client is Paying by Credit Card from Somewhere that does not have a Zip Code

Environment:

  • Clio Web App
  • LawPay

Additional Information:

You will need to call LawPay at 800-459-5798 to ensure that countries outside of your own are enabled on your account.

Answer:

If your client is paying from a location that does not have a Zip Code or Postal Code, you can simply get them to type in five 0s (ie. 00000) to fill in this field as the payment cannot be processed with the field left blank.
