KCS - When Applying a Discount to a Bill I get the Error Message - "Error: There was a problem updating your Bill. Please try again."

Issue:

  • Unable to save a Bill when adding a discount and Clio generates the above error message.

Cause:

You are trying to apply a percentage discount greater than 100%, which cannot be saved in Clio.

Resolution:

Either lower the percentage of your discount or switch to a dollar amount discount.
