Receiving Timekeeper Classification Errors When I Submit My Ledes Billing

Issue:

  • LEDES Billing error: Timekeeper Classification does not match
  • TIMEKEEPER_CLASSIFICATION ERROR

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

The Job Title field is used to designate a User's Timekeeper Classification for LEDES Billing purposes. Click here to learn how to edit a User's Job Title. If you would like more information about LEDES billing, click here.

Cause:

The Timekeeper Classification of one of the Users does not match what has been inputed in the LEDES Billing Software or is invalid. 

Resolution:

  1. Edit the affected User's job title (See additional information for instructions)
  2. Re-Download the bill in LEDES format
  3. Re-submit to LEDES billing software.
