KCS - Issue: Some Time Entries Created by Clio Connect Users Not Able To Be Billed

Issue:

  • Flat rate Activities created by Co-Counsel users not created with a duration of 1

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Cause:

When a Clio Connect user who has a Matter shared to them creates a Time Entry for a Flat Rate activity, the Duration of that Activity is not being set to "1" as expected. A Time Entry with 0 Duration will not be applied to an Invoice. 

Workaround:

Either:

  1. When a Connect user is creating a Time Entry, specify the Duration
  2. In Clio, if an Flat rate Activity is edited, and then saved, the Duration will update to 1
