KCS - What Do I Do If I Can't See a Matter in the Search Field?

Objective:

  • To determine how to get Matters to appear in Search results.
  • To get Matters that are not appearing in Search result to appear.

  • Clio Web App

Answer:

If you have ensured the Matter number is correct, you can override the Matter number to the same number. 

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Practice
  3. Select Matter Numbering
  4. Select Open for Matter Number Override
  5. Enter the existing Matter Number (eg: 12345)
  6. Type in the same Matter Number in the New Matter Number field (eg; 12345)
  7. Select Update
  8. Perform a search for the Matter
