KCS - Will the Clio/QuickBooks Online Sync Recognize Contact Uniqueness Without an Email Address?

Objective:

  • QuickBooks Online Contact Uniqueness if email address in both are blank

  • QuickBooks Online

Answer:

No. Even if the First and Last Names are the same in both programs, and the email address field is blank in both programs, this will not be enough to ensure that the sync recognizes these as the same Contact. For that to happen, all three of those fields must be populated and match exactly.
