KCS - When I Share a Bill via Email, will the Email show the Amount Due on the Current Bill or the Total Outstanding Balance for the Client?

Objective:

  • Customize what shows on Bill Share Email
  • Send Contact Total Amount Outstanding

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

  • To show the Total Outstanding Amount on the emails you share, follow the steps detailed here.

Answer:

The Total Outstanding Amount will only show on the email if you have checked the above setting, and you have Clio Payments set up. If you do not have Clio Payments set up, only the balance on the current Bill you are sharing will display on the email.
