KCS - "There was a problem verifying your LawPay account" error message when attempting to set up Clio Payments

Issue:

  • Red banner error when trying to "Sign in using LawPay"

Environment:

  • Clio Web App
  • LawPay

Additional Information:

You can reach LawPay directly at 1-800-459-5798

Cause:

You're using LawPay Legacy, a type of LawPay account not accessible with Clio Payments.

Resolution:

Reach out to LawPay to get an application for the newest version of LawPay.
