How to input autofill fields in a PDF document template in Clio Grow

Environment:

  • Clio Grow

Procedure:

A New PDF Document

  1. Create a new PDF document
  2. Select the required number of contacts, companies, contact signers and user signers
  3. Select the required autofill fields from the appropriate fields section
  4. Click “Create Template”
  5. Click the “Text Box” button in the top menu
  6. Click in the desired location on the document
  7. Under “Who fills this out?” make sure that “Clio Grow (when sending)” is selected
  8. Under “What text goes here?” select the desired autofill field from the dropdown
  9. Repeat steps 6-8 for all locations for your autofill fields
  10. Click “Continue” to save the PDF template

 

Editing an existing PDF Document

Note: Only fields that were selected when the document was originally setup can be added to the document.

  1. On the Template Editor page edit the desired PDF Document Template
  2. Click the “Text Box” button in the top menu
  3. Click in the desired location on the document
  4. Under “Who Fills This Out?” make sure that “Clio Grow (When Sending)” is selected
  5. Under “What text goes here” select the desired autofill field from the dropdown
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for all locations for your autofill fields
  7. Click “Continue” to save the PDF template
