Before Clio sends an outbound email, it will verify that the selected email is properly configured. If the destination email is misconfigured an email will not be sent.
Google's MX tool can be used to find common misconfigurations in your MX DNS records and establish the current status of your domain.
- Click here: https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/checkmx/
- Enter the email domain (if the email is email@example.com, the domain is "lawfirm.com")
- Click Run checks!
- Review the report.
If you encounter a problem with a domain configuration, you will see a red circle with an exclamation point. Click on the associated Help Center article to learn more about the configuration issue and how to resolve it. In some cases, an IT professional may be required to resolve the issue.
