This month (July 2021) we’re launching two exciting updates to Clio for Clients:
- Access Clio for Clients from any device. In addition to the mobile app, Clio for Clients will also be accessible from a web browser, allowing clients to communicate and review documents from their desktop or laptop.
- Centralized client communications. We’re improving how you engage with your clients in Clio Manage by introducing a new Client Portal tab. You’ll be able to review and respond to messages, and share documents with clients from one place.
What this means for you
Once launched, all new messages will appear in the Client Portal tab of the Communications page in Clio. Any messages sent prior to this update can be viewed in the Secure Messages tab. If you have yet to share a message or document with a client, you will need to create a new client portal to get started (learn more).
What this means for your clients
The messaging experience will stay the same for your clients in the Clio for Clients mobile app. If your client has an existing message thread with you, prior messages will be archived and linked within the same thread.
