How to Add a New Document Category

Objective:

  • Add custom Document Categories
  • Select Invoice or Bill as a Document Category
  • To determine how to add a Category to use when uploading Documents
  • How do I create a category for Documents?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Procedure:

  1. Click Documents on the left side menu
  2. Click Categories and Templates button at the top right
  3. Navigate to the sub-tab Categories
  4. Click the New Category button
  5. Type the new custom Category into the Category Name field
  6. Click Save
