How to Add to the Document Categories List

Objective:

  • Add custom Document Categories
  • Select Invoice or Bill as a Document Category
  • To determine how to add a Category to use when uploading Documents
  • How do I create a category for Documents?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Procedure:

  1. Click Documents on the left side menu
  2. Navigate to the sub-tab Categories
  3. Click the green Add button
  4. Type the new custom Category into the Name field
  5. Click Save
