KCS - How to Remove a Firm Member


  • Disable a user
  • Deactivate a staff member
  • Remove a user


  • Clio Web App

  • Settings > Manage Users

Additional Information:

  • Only Administrators and Account Owners will be able to add and remove users within the account
  • Monthly subscriptions: After disabling a user, you will no longer be charged for this user starting your next billing cycle.
  • Annual subscriptions: After disabling a user, if you do not want to apply the unused license to another user, you will need to REMOVE USED LICENSES


  1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  2. Select Manage Users
  3. Select Deactivate listed under the user you would like to deactivate
  4. Select OK to confirm
