KCS - How to Add a Document Version


  • Update or create a new document version
  • Edit a file version
  • Make changes to a document I uploaded
  • Replace a document

This option is available on Full Access and Clio Connect accounts.


  1. Navigate to Documents tab and locate document
  2. Click View Details under document name
  3. In the Details panel, select Add New Version
  4. Follow prompts to Locate/Select the new file
