How to Create Custom Fields For Contacts

  • Customers in EMEA can find details on whether they are eligible for this feature here.

  • Only Administrators on the Account can add Custom Fields


  1. Click Settings or the gear icon
  2. Custom Fields
  3. Click Contact Custom Fields > Individual Fields
  4. Click Add
  5. Fill out the Name field and select a Type
  6. Check the Default box to display the field automatically when creating or editing Contacts
  7. Check the Required box to make filling out the field mandatory
  8. Click Save
