Answer:
- A Direct Payment is a payment made by cash, cheque/check or credit card from a client. You would record a Direct Payment on a Bill if the client did not have funds available in their Trust account or did not use Clio Payments
- A Direct Payment should not be manually recorded for Credit Card payments made via Clio Payments because this record would automatically be generated when payment was processed
