How Do I Invite a Client to Clio Connect


  • Share items with Clients via Clio Connect
  • Have Client create Clio Connect Account


  • Clio Connect
  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

In order for a Client to receive an invite to join Clio Connect, an item MUST be shared with them. Once the item has been shared they will receive an email from Clio notifying them an item has been shared and provide them with a link to set up their Account. 


  1. Choose item (Document, Bill, Task, Calendar Entry, etc.) you would like to share with Client
  2. Select Clio Connect or Share (depending on the type of item)
  3. Select the intended recipient
  4. Send a message (optional)
  5. Click Share
