When a customer wants to make use of an email address that they've already used in Clio they are usually able to do so. There are some specific cases, however, where they are unable to use an email again.
In such cases we have the ability to "Release" an email. To release an email we must change that email address in our database. For instance "firstname.lastname@example.org" may be changed to "email@example.com" so that a user can use the "firstname.lastname@example.org" a second time.
