Frequently Asked Questions

Finding Timers
Timers can be started in several different places to make it easy and efficient to accurately capture time.

From the Header

You can start a timer for any recently entered Time Entry by clicking the play button on the timer in the header at the top of Clio.

From the Activities page

On the "Activities" page, or the "Activities" tab of a Matter, you can start a timer for any unbilled Time Entry by clicking the play button.

An active timer will display a pause button instead of a play button.

From a new Time Entry

Press the play button in the "Time entry" window to start a timer.

Using the Timekeeper

On the Clio header, click the click icon beside the timer.

This will open the Timekeeper.

The Timekeeper displays all of the Time Entries that you have entered today. You can re-start timers, edit entries, or create new Time Entries. You can also use the arrow buttons to look at previous days.
