How to Update a Document in Clio Documents


  • Made changes in a Document, and now needs Clio to reflect the changes.
  • New version of a Document in Clio Documents


  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

If any changes are made to a Document in Clio, a new version will need to be uploaded for Clio to reflect these changes.


  1. Go to Documents (either from the main tab, or within the Matter)
  2. Click View Details under the Document you want to update
  3. In the popup that appears, click Add New Version
  4. Select the updated Document
  5. Click Open
