How to Create a Folder

Objective:

  • To generate a Document folder
  • Make a Folder for a Matter

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • There is no limit to the number of Folders, or Subfolders that can be created

Procedure:

  1. Either:
    1. Click on the Documents tab or
    2. Click the Documents sub-tab within a Matter or Contact
  2. Click the blue New button on the right of the screen
  3. Click Create a new Folder
  4. Add a folder name in the Folder name field
  5. Optionally choose a Category
  6. Click Create
