KCS - Why are some maildrop forwarded emails ending up in the main Communications tab with no Matter attached?

Objective:

  • When the maildrop communication does not have a Matter associated.

Environment:

  • Clio Web App
  • Communications
  • Contacts

Answer:

There are two addresses to forward email communications to- one for each specific Matter, and an account wide email. The account wide email brings communications to the main communications tab, without a Matter number assigned to it.
