KCS - If I Edit a Bill Will it Automatically Update the Record?

Objective:

  • To edit a Bill but not update the original record for the Time or Expense Entry
  • Stop time and expense entry edits from changing the original record
  • Avoid Bill line item edits from pushing back to the Matter

Answer:

By default when editing a Bill in new Clio the Update Records box is checked at the top of the page. If you do not wish the original records to be updated you must deselect this box.
