What Clio Triggers and Actions are Supported in Zapier?

Objective:

  • Clio Triggers available in Zapier
  • Clio Actions available in Zapier
  • Clio Searches available in Zapier

Environment:

Answer:

 Triggers. You can now start a Zap when:

Documents Triggers:

  • A Document is created in Clio

Matter Triggers:

  • A Matter is created in Clio
  • A Matter’s Status is updated in Clio
  • A Matter Note is created in Clio

Billing Triggers:

  • A new Bill is created in Clio
  • A Bill’s State is updated in Clio

Task Triggers:

  • A new Task is created in Clio
  • A Task’s Status is updated in Clio

Calendar Triggers:

  • A new Calendar entry is created in Clio

Contact Triggers:

  • A new Contact is created in Clio

Communication Triggers:

  • A new Communication is created in Clio

Activity Triggers:

  • A new Activity is created in Clio

 

 Actions. You can now use Zapier to automatically:

Contact Actions:

  • Create a new Person Contact in Clio
  • Update a Person Contact in Clio
  • Create a new Company Contact in Clio
  • Update a Company Contact in Clio

Task Actions:

  • Create a new Task in Clio
  • Update a Task in Clio
  • Assign a Task Template List in Clio

Matter Actions:

  • Create a new Matter in Clio
  • Update a Matter in Clio
  • Create a Matter Note in Clio
  • Create a Matter Folder in Clio
  • Upload Document to Matter in Clio

Communication Actions:

  • Create new Communication in Clio

Activity Actions:

  • Create Expense Entry in Clio
  • Create Time Entry in Clio

SEARCH ACTIONS:

  • Find Matter
  • Find User
  • Find Company Contact

Searches. You can now use Zapier to retrieve a User from Clio and reference data associated with that User in a subsequent Action.
