Why isn't the Accounts Receivable Report Matching the Outstanding Balances due in QuickBooks for Year End?

Objective:

  • How does the Account Receivable Report show outstanding balances with a date range

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • It's possible to run a Statements of Account with a date range to show the outstanding amount due as of a certain date. For information on how to generate this, click here.

Answer:

  • The Account Receivable Report is a non-historical report. The total Accounts Receivable (AR) shown will be as of today's date. If a date range is set, the total A/R will not reflect the outstanding balance as of the date range cut off.
