Why aren't my Trust Sync Transactions Pushing to Quickbooks Online?

Objective:

  • My Trust sync is not working 

Environment:

  • Clio Web App 

Additional Information:

  • Once you turn on the Quickbooks Online Trust Sync, it takes 24 hours for the sync to initialize

Answer:

After the Quickbooks Online Trust Sync is set up, newly created Trust Transactions dated on or after the date specified in the Trust Sync section on the QuickBooks Online sync settings page in Settings > Bill Syncing will sync from Clio to Quickbooks online.

Transactions existing before that date will not sync and should be manually entered into Quickbooks Online.

Transactions created after that date but back-dated to before will not sync and should be manually entered into Quickbooks Online.
