KCS - How to Add An Invoice Note to a Bill

Objective:

  • Include extra text on an Invoice
  • Add notes for your client on their bill (free text field)

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

For the Invoice note field to appear on bills, the following selection must be made on the Bill Theme:

  • Footer > Footer
  • Show Invoice Memo box is checked
  • Text box contains: {{bill_memo}}

Procedure:

  1. Locate the Bill
  2. Click on the Edit option
  3. Type your comments into the Invoice note field at the bottom of the page
  4. Click Save Invoice
